Filmsupply is the premier destination for cinematic stock footage, connecting world-class filmmakers with brands, agencies, and creatives looking for high-quality visuals. However, as the platform evolved, its user experience became complex, with unnecessary steps, fragmented workflows, and a lack of scalability in its design and development.

As the Director of Product Design, I led the end-to-end redesign of Filmsupply.com—reimagining the experience, reducing friction in key workflows, implementing a scalable design system, and crafting a visually stunning interface.

The Challenge

Filmsupply’s existing platform had grown organically over time, leading to several UX and design challenges:

1. An Overcomplicated Search & Licensing Process

Customers often struggled to find and license footage efficiently, encountering unnecessary steps, confusing UI patterns, and redundant interactions.
